Goji berries is a deep-red coloured sweet-taste dried fruit, and is the similar size of a raisin. Goji Berries are from north-western part of China. In recent years people all over the world have discovered many benefits of goji berry, including immune system enhancement, anti-aging, weight loss, anti-cancer, fertility improvement, and so on. In July 2006, Time Magazine called the goji berry the “Breakout Superfruit of the Year”. In July 2005, LA Times reported that it may help repress some cancer cells. Spirulina is also a very rich source of Vitamin B-12. It has much higher iron content than spinach. It contains much higher amounts of Beta-Carotene than carrots. As a food Spirulina has been consumed in various forms over centuries in different parts of the world. Its protein constituent is in an easily digested form. It also contains minerals, vitamins, essential fatty acids and antioxidants that are not available to humans from any single food of vegetable or animal source known so far.
